Limerick writing

WALT complete a limerick

A funny young fellow named Perkins
Was terribly fond of small gherkins
One day after tea
He ate ninety cookie
And pickled his internal workings.

There was once a young girl who said: "Why
Can't I look in my ear with my eye?
If I put my mind to it
I'm sure I can do it.
You never can tell till you try."

There was an old man of Dumbree,
Who taught little owls to drink tea ;
For he said, 'To eat mice,
Is not proper or nice'
That amiable man of Dumbree.

Production reflection

Feelings:I felt worried when I was planning my wearable art because I thought I wasn't going to have enough time. When I brought out the garment I felt really worried because it broke on the way down.
Facts:I used to think I was terrible at dancing but now I think I'm pretty good. I want to know more about North Africa and legends
Skills: my skills were using the hot glue gun because I didn't burn myself. And I thought I was good at painting cause it looked really cool
?'s:why was our dance so cool and why was my garment falling apart
Goals:I need to plan better next time I need to use something more strong next time
Highlights:the spraypaint looked really cool. It was really fun making the garment
Challenges: drawing the shape of the lamp and cutting it out
Links: I where costumes some times and I like making stuff out of recyclable stuff.

Writing

WALT write our own mysteries

Once in a far far land there was a problem. the problem was people were hunting the famous turducken. The O.O.D/organisation of detectives rang a man named bob he was a detective who used to work for Dan O.O.D's owner. Bob went over to O.O.D's HQ and Dan told him about the mysterious mystery. Bob wonders who it could be, maybe Sam because Bob saw Sam hunting in the turducken habitat, but Harrison might have done it because he saw him with a gun that looked like it was sighted on a turducken. Bob rang them and told both of them to meet him at his house at two separate times. Sam at 3:00 and Harrison at 4:30 Bob told them about the mystery and he said he thought it was them but Sam looked fine and he was talking normally when Harrison was talking he was talking weirdly and looked guilty but his dad came in for some reason Bob told him about it and he said he was with Harrison and said "Harrison did not do it." When Bob got back to O.O.D HQ he was really red Frank was suspicious. Frank walked up to Bob and said did you do it. Bob had a really guilty face suddenly Frank said to Dan "Bob did it" Dan trusted Frank so they went to Bobs house and it smelt like a turducken they looked in the fridge and there one was. Bob went to jail for 3 years after that.

Writing

                                                             Day 1

There I was in the car waiting to get to Napier. Me and my sister were getting bored of talking to each other about staying at Kennedy park. So we made up this game where you can't talk, laugh and you can't make people laugh. We played that and then I got tired and after awhile I said "this is getting boring"  fell asleep suddenly I woke up and I saw a sign that said Napier 10 km so I waited to get there, my sister said "should we play the silent game? " " Is that what it's called,  okay then let's play " and we played and then she laughed so I won. Finally we were in Napier.

We got their we got a free pass to the aquarium, laser force, mini golf and 1, 1 hour with the pedal cars. But first we went to our room our number was 66 and it was great because we were right next to 2 parks 1 had a basketball hoop and 1 had a jumping pillow. As soon as we were ready Leila (sister) and I went on the jumping pillow. It was like a really big tramp but it was harder then one. When we were playing in the pillow it started getting really hot so we went inside and we layed in our bunks. Then we went swimming in the pool and my mum took videos of Leila, it started getting dark so we went inside when we got inside their dinner was on the table we had risotto it was creamy and delicious.

                                                      Day 2

So we woke up I was up first then Leila when we woke up it was freezing we turned the heater on, when it started to warm up I turned the t.v. On and we watched something really weird until mum and dad got up. So we had breakfast we were raving about going on the pedal cars but then we got in a real car and drove around and mum was going crazy at dad about navigation. Then we got to the aquarium it was 10 tons of boring except for the start with the megalodon (big tooth) when we got back we got to go on the pedal cars me and my dad raced I won that was basically it then we went back inside right when I went in I herd a crash I looked out the window and my friend was riding it my other friends were riding to we played cops and robbers and we went home.
